Job Description:
The Software Engineer is responsible for developing, implementing, maintaining, and continuously improving, effective manufacturing systems to support production.
Job Duties:
- Develop world-class software within the pro audio, video & control industry
- Develop C++ application software in Linux OS
- Embedded systems/firmware design, implementation and deployment
- Work with Software Quality Assurance to develop appropriate test strategies
- Perform other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years of work experience in a software development environment
- Experience in developing C++ application software in Linux OS
- Experience with the features of modern C++ and its effective use in solving real-world problems
- Experience with the best principles, practices, and patterns of software architecture and design
- Embedded platform development experience
- Must be able to take ownership of large portions of the software from a technical perspective
- Must be self-motivated in order to achieve assigned objectives with minimal supervision
- Proficiency in several of the following areas:
- OpenGL
- OpenVINO
- Qt
- Communications protocols
- Web technologies
- Computer security and data privacy
- Streaming media protocols
- Real-time embedded systems
- High performance, distributed, or high availability systems
- Unit testing
