Job Description:
Responsible for providing pre-sales support to sales and technical staff for systems design/build proposals and RFP reviews. Must have a good understanding of AV & VTC systems, a working knowledge of Excel, and the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
Job Duties:
- Engineer Systems Design/Build Solutions – Create a rough-order-of-magnitude budget
- Create an equipment list for Estimating to price based on the functional needs of the client
- Create sales proposals; send an approved proposal to the client
- Work with Sales in a Pre-Sales capacity with onsite client visits
- Maintain regular communication with Clients and Directors
- Work with Project Team to verify system functionality
- Develop and maintain knowledge of current and new technologies that the company offers
- Provide sales and technical staff with technical support on both a pre and post-sales basis
Job Requirements:
• AVIXA CTS-D certification ideal, AutoCAD NOT required but a nice to have
• Minimum 5 years of working experience in the AV field required
• Proficiency with Crestron, Extron, Biamp, Polycom, Cisco Video Teleconferencing systems
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Must be a responsible, self-motivated, self-starter, personable and well-organized
• Ability to demonstrate planning, organizing, and implementing skills
• Must be able to read and effectively interpret general business documentation and drawing packages
