Lead Field Audio Visual Technician – Residential AV

• Provide technical installation and Guidance for basic and advanced integration projects
• Exhibit high-level experience and ability in technical processes, hardware, and software
• Provide technical understanding and guidance for basic and advanced signal flow setup, configure, and test signal flow systems
• Possess an understanding of rack building procedure and tying in racks on-site
• Accurately document the installation procedure and complete the necessary paperwork
• Interface with customers and vendors on job sites
• Familiarity with product lines including Crestron, Savant, Sonos, Lutron
• Working knowledge of Crestron, Control 4, Lutron, Hunter Douglas, DMX, Ubiquiti and/or Net Gear
• Perform basic troubleshooting using various software and testing tools
• Must have an understanding of AV floorplans, wire schedules, elevations & schematics
• Basic understanding of lighting and shade systems including HomeWorks QS low voltage wiring, RPMs and breaker panels, 0-10v wiring, dimmers, keypads, repeaters, shade wiring, and setting shade limit.
• Ability to interact seamlessly with Designers/Architects & Home Owners.

Requirements include:

• Valid NYS driver’s license and reliable transportation to 11968
• Minimum 4 years in residential AV
• Programming certification or verifiable work experience in at least 2 of the following
  • Lutron Homeworks QS/QSX lighting controls
  • Lutron shades
  • Control4
  • Savant
  • Crestron
  • URC
  • Ruckus
  • Fortigate
  • Ekahau
  • Ericsson LG
• Strong understanding of analog and digital signal flow
• Ability to read and understand drawings, blueprints, and schematic diagrams
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
